微軟Windows和Windows Live部門主管Steven Sinofsky,此前曾公開表示，Windows 7已經進入RC階段了，自Windows 7 Beta Build 7000之后的版本都屬于RC分支。而正式版的Windows 7 RC可能要等到5月。

不過，有國外媒體報道，微軟將會于本月底在俄國市場開展一次小范圍的Windows 7地區(qū)性測試。上周，微軟官方曾放出Windows 7 RC的TechNet頁面，包括英語、德語、日語、法語和西班牙語。但并未提及俄國版本，當然，也沒中文版。

據(jù)透露，此測試版本也屬于Windows 7 的RC分支，將會通過Microsoft Connect提供給測試者。至于這個版本有啥不同，現(xiàn)在也不得而知，反正按照慣例，到時肯定會有種子泄露，再耐心等等吧。

Just because Microsoft is reportedly planning mini-beta releases of Windows 7 does not mean that the Redmond company is sidetracking from the original plans for the next iteration of the Windows client.
