 很多人都已經(jīng)參與了Windows 7 Beta Build 7000的測(cè)試，發(fā)現(xiàn)安裝過程跟Vista很相似，只是快了點(diǎn)，一般從選擇語言到第一次啟動(dòng)只要20分鐘左右，但這僅僅是針對(duì)普通PC或筆記本而言，如果在Netbook上安裝的話，過程可能要長(zhǎng)一點(diǎn)。

Justin Zarb，微軟英國的一名工程師日前在一臺(tái)Asus Eee PC上安裝了Windows 7 Beta，整個(gè)安裝過程耗時(shí)1.5小時(shí)，而從使用情況看來微軟確實(shí)做到了此前的承諾---Windows 7可以在Netbooks上流暢運(yùn)行。

Zarb引用該機(jī)器機(jī)主的話說：“預(yù)裝的Linux根本沒法用，看起來還可以，但真正用起來才發(fā)現(xiàn)啥都不能做。”因此，他就格掉了預(yù)裝的Linux，抱著試試看的態(tài)度安裝了Windows 7 Beta。16G硬盤，1G內(nèi)存運(yùn)行Windows 7 Beta毫不含糊。

Zarb采用了U盤安裝的方式在1.5小時(shí)內(nèi)裝好了Windows 7，而所有驅(qū)動(dòng)都是默認(rèn)安裝完畢的，沒有任何問題，性能上也過得去，如果能升級(jí)一下配置的話，那簡(jiǎn)直要飛起來了。
