 在從Vista向Windows 7的進(jìn)化過程中，微軟加入了一系列先進(jìn)科技以提供網(wǎng)絡(luò)流量管理。Qos網(wǎng)絡(luò)組件就是用來(lái)檢測(cè)和測(cè)量可用帶寬和網(wǎng)絡(luò)質(zhì)量的。

微軟核心網(wǎng)絡(luò)部門經(jīng)理Charley Wen強(qiáng)調(diào)將會(huì)繼續(xù)在Windows 7進(jìn)行網(wǎng)絡(luò)組件上的改進(jìn)。這樣一來(lái)，微軟將會(huì)帶來(lái)基于URL的Qos上的一系列改進(jìn)。

“如果你對(duì)Vista中的QoS比較熟悉的話，你應(yīng)該了解IT管理員可以創(chuàng)建基于程序名稱、資源和目標(biāo)IP地址的策略。而在Windows 7中，我們加入了基于URL和Http服務(wù)器的策略。”

另外，據(jù)Charley Wen稱，網(wǎng)路管理員可以輕松據(jù)此對(duì)網(wǎng)絡(luò)進(jìn)行優(yōu)化，并減少網(wǎng)絡(luò)上的問題。同時(shí)，微軟還專門針對(duì)Windows 7和Windows Server 2008 R2的ISS服務(wù)器進(jìn)行了優(yōu)化。

In the evolution from Windows Vista to Windows 7, Microsoft is advancing a collection of technologies designed to provide network traffic management. Quality of Service (QoS) core networking components in Windows 7 are set up to permit the throttling of traffic by monitoring and measuring available bandwidth as well as network conditions.

 Charley Wen, the program manager for Windows Core Networking, emphasized that Microsoft continued to be committed to the evolution of Quality of Service and to the addition of new features. In this context, Windows 7 will bring to the table a Quality of Service improvement labeled URL based QoS.
