 很明顯，Vista已經(jīng)遭遇慘敗，而來自用戶和企業(yè)的批評也使得微軟意識到了這一點(diǎn)�，F(xiàn)在已經(jīng)沒有任何理由花錢升級到Vista。很多人都受到建議：不管怎樣都要等待Windows 7，因?yàn)槲④洺兄Z，Windows 7將會是完成品的Vista。

此前曾有報(bào)道稱Windows 7的安裝過程可以在1小時(shí)內(nèi)完成，后來又有人在高端機(jī)器上在30分鐘內(nèi)裝好了Windows 7并立即就可以開始使用。雖然安裝中始終缺少某些驅(qū)動，但總的來說，在安裝過程方面，Windows 7要比Vista優(yōu)秀太多了。

同樣缺少的還有一個(gè)集成的安全套裝，雖然已經(jīng)有了內(nèi)置的防火墻和Windows Defender。用戶還是需要另外購買單獨(dú)的安全軟件，這跟此前的操作系統(tǒng)沒什么兩樣。不過或許微軟正在開發(fā)的新安全軟件能偶改變這一現(xiàn)狀。

小編：不過微軟會不會集成我們就不得而知了，因?yàn)檫@需要面臨來自各大安全廠商和反壟斷委員會以及某些用戶的巨大壓力。

Windows 7將會是Vista的改進(jìn)版本。但是否會來得太遲或是改進(jìn)太少呢？現(xiàn)在斷言Windows 7是否會成為原先Vista應(yīng)該做到的那樣還為時(shí)過早。

It’s fairly obvious that Vista has been a flop and users as well as industry professionals have made Microsoft well aware of this fact.  There is almost no compelling reason for the average user or business to put money into upgrading to Vista.  Some of these people are best advised to wait anyway because Windows 7 promises to be “Vista done right.”

According to Crunchgear the Windows 7 install was completed in an hour though other reports have it being completed in as little as 30 minutes on sufficiently fast hardware.  Lockergnome reports that after the install was complete the computer was ready to use.  It did lack a few drivers here and there but overall the completeness of the install was far greater than it was with Vista.

It still lacks an integrated security suite though the basic firewall and Windows Defender are included they should not be relied on as a primary level of defense.  You will still need a standalone security suite.  This is no different than it has been for previous versions of Windows.  It would be nice to see this change with Microsoft since the company is working on a free version of its security suite.

Windows 7 will be an improvement over Vista.  Will it be enough or too little too late?  This game is too early to call but it’s hard to not say that Windows 7 is what Vista should have been.
